What do you get when the world’s most valuable company is rumoured to be working on a larger, more capable iPad? … Damage control, that’s what. And that’s exactly what Samsung appears to have engaged in at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show.
Following recent speculation that claimed Apple could be working on a larger version of its iPad product – tentatively dubbed the “iPad Pro” – for possible introduction sometime within the next 12-months, Samsung has shown-off a brand-new range of tablets in different sizes that, it says, will aim to improve the experience of multitasking for its users.
The larger Galaxy Note Tab series, announced yesterday, comes in two 12.2-inch sizes (designed for multitasking with their 247 ppi 2560 x 1600 pixel displays), alongside both a 10.1-inch and 8.4-inch variant (with focus on these models appearing to be more on portability). The new product line is split up into the following models.
