In unison with the public availability of the iOS 9 software update, Apple has tonight officially released a new version of iTunes.
The day is finally here.
Apple’s latest and greatest iOS update for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad just became available to download publicly both over-the-air, and via iTunes.
The day where our iPhone’s capacity is not burdened down with the ever-increasing collection of default iOS apps designed and bundled by Apple, may soon be upon us.
From its ability to universally search different services for the content you may be looking to watch, to its integration with Siri for fine-grain voice search, and its dedicated App Store which will soon be home to a treasure trove of apps designed for the big-screen (and that will soon be bundled in with the purchase of certain “Universal” iOS apps) – the new Apple TV is just the beginning of Apple’s vision for what the TV could eventually be.
There’s simply no getting away from the fact that Apple’s media event held at the Bill Graham Civic Center, last week, was chocked full of new products.
So much so, we’re still getting our head around all that was announced.
From the introduction of new Apple Watch models (with a number of new finishes), to the unveiling of the biggest (and perhaps, most-capable) iPad yet, and the showing off of both the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus with improvements such as 3D Touch, and a 12-megapixel camera …
One announcement, though, was more anticipated than any other.
The introduction of the new Apple TV.
Those who were lucky enough to get an invite to Apple’s September 9 presser – last week, also got the chance to actually land their hands on the firm’s two new flagship smartphones, more than a fortnight before they are set to go on sale to the wider public.
Following months of speculation that the Cupertino, CA company may have been working on a larger expression of its steadily selling tablet, alongside issuing a number of updates to the Apple Watch line just in time for the holidays, and introducing the more-capable iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus – last week’s special event also gave birth to the most-powerful iPad yet.
