Earlier today, Apple officially unveiled its new iPod line.
The refresh included the introduction of the sixth-generation iPod touch with A8 chip, (the same processing chip as used in the company’s latest iPhone), alongside Apple also introducing new colour variants across its iPod touch, iPod nano and iPod shuffle product lines.
While Apple has in past years waited until September to refresh its iPod line, that slot has in more recent years been taken up by the introduction of the next-generation iPhone(s).
